Authentically engaging curriculum must be culturally relevant, rigorous, and appropriate for all learners.  As teachers examine the needs of their student population, there are key factors to consider when selecting effective resources, materials, and technology.  Teachers need to evaluate the diversity of the student population as well as the need for differentiation and positive self-efficacy.
